Discover the Amatrice pasta, four formats are available for an absolutely traditional pasta and perfect for cooking the dishes of Central Italy. Pasta di Amatrice is available in various formats, such as rigatoni, bucatini, spaghetti and mezze sleeves.
Pasta is always produced and packaged in Amatrice, by the strampelli pasta factory and holds the highest quality to make typical recipes, such as pasta all’amatriciana or pasta alla gricia.
The spaghetti format is made with durum wheat semolina and is always bronze drawn.
The standard cooking time of this pasta is between 8 and 11 minutes.
All the Amatrice pasta is dried slowly and at a low temperature, thus giving the pasta the right degree of compactness and roughness.
